Reddit has announced some new additions to its Reddit Pro suite of business tools, which provide additional analytics and data functions to help brands make the most of the app.

And they’re free, so definitely worth checking out if you can (as they’re not available in all regions as yet). And it also includes Reddit’s Trends overview, so you can see what’s trending in the app at any given time.

So it’s already worth a look, and now, Reddit’s adding some new tricks to help more brands utilize the app.

First off, Reddit’s added an AI-powered business summary element for your business profile, which will suggest a description for your company based on your URL.

That’ll ideally save you time and effort in creating a brand profile in the app.

As per Reddit:

“With our improved set-up process, populating a profile bio just takes two steps. All businesses have to do is provide their official website and choose one of several suggested descriptions.”

Reddit will also now enable brands to re-share relevant community posts and comments on their profiles:

As you can see in this example, now, if you find a relevant post about your business, you’ll be able to re-share that to your profile, as a means to help highlight relevant discussion.

“The ability for businesses to showcase user perspectives about their products and services allows them to deepen credibility with not only their respective communities, but also other redditors looking to learn more about them and their offerings.”

These are some handy updates, which add more value to Reddit’s Pro tools, which, as noted, are currently available for free to eligible businesses.

So which businesses are eligible?

Reddit says that Reddit Pro is available in all English-speaking countries where Reddit operates.
